SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah Jazz closed its franchise-record nine-game homestand with a tough blowout loss to the Detroit Pistons on Monday.
The tone was set early as Utah trailed by 20 at the half with 14 more turnovers than Detroit. The Pistons struggled with three-point shooting all game but it didn’t end up mattering as the Jazz matched them with their own poor efficiency.
Kyle Filipowski led the way for Utah with a career-high 25 points. Walker Kessler and Filipowski were the only Jazz players to shoot over 50 percent on five or more attempts. Meanwhile, despite their poor long-range percentage, Detroit shot over 55 percent from the field as a team.
Utah will now embark on an important East Coast road trip with stops in Washington, Toronto, and Philadelphia.

I think Oscar Tshiebwe wearing 34 is a really strong choice.

Feels like Will Hardy told Cody Williams he had to be more aggressive offensively tonight.
Haven’t seen him this determined to get so shots up at any point this season.
