Big 12 Announces Kickoff Time, TV Info For BYU’s Game Against Oklahoma

PROVO, Utah – BYU football has a kickoff time for its Senior Day showdown against the Oklahoma Sooners next week.
The Big 12 announced that the game will take place at 10 a.m. (MT) on either ABC or ESPN. It’s an early morning game for BYU football in Provo.

The last time BYU faced Oklahoma was during the 2009 season. It was a Top 25 clash that took place in the first-ever game played inside Dallas Cowboys Stadium –now AT&T Stadium– in Arlington, Texas.
BYU won that game over the No. 3 Oklahoma Sooners 14-13 behind a big performance from QB Max Hall and the Cougar defense.

The 2023 meeting between the two programs is the first meeting played at one of the team’s home venues. Before 2009, the other meeting was the 1994 Copper Bowl. BYU also won that game 31-6.
The last time BYU football played a 10 a.m. home game was in 2004 against New Mexico. That was former head coach Gary Crowton’s last game in Provo as the BYU head coach.
