TV Info, Kickoff Time Revealed For BYU Football Game At Stanford

PROVO, Utah – The regular season finale for BYU football at Stanford now has a kickoff time.
BYU’s second trip to The Farm will kick off at 9 p.m. (MT)/8 p.m. (PT) on November 26 on FS1. The 9 p.m. (MT) start is the latest kickoff of the year for BYU this season.

It’s the second consecutive year BYU has closed out an Independent regular season at a Pac-12 venue in a late-night spot. Last year, BYU took on USC in the LA Coliseum in a game that kicked off at 8:30 p.m.
The meeting between BYU and Stanford will be the third all-time contest between the two schools on the gridiron. They last met in 2004, a game that BYU lost at Stanford. They were supposed to meet two years ago in 2020, but the COVID-19 pandemic left Pac-12 teams playing conference-only schedules. So that never materialized.
Both teams have had underperforming seasons this year. Stanford is already eliminated from bowl contention after falling to Utah this past weekend. The Cardinal are now 3-7 overall. BYU started the year 2-0 and rose to No. 12 in the AP Top 25 poll, but are only at 5-5 heading into the season’s final two weeks.
BYU hosts Utah Tech on November 19 before traveling to Palo Alto to take on the Cardinal. Stanford takes on rival Cal this weekend before welcoming in BYU for a non-conference clash to close out their season.
The Stanford game will be BYU’s last regular season contest as an Independent program. Then, in 2023, BYU will be a member of the Big 12 Conference.
Due to BYU’s upcoming move to the Big 12, four future football games were canceled in the 2025, 2026, 2028, and 2035 seasons. Stanford will make a return trip to Provo from the 2022 meeting on August 30, 2031. That will be Stanford’s first trip to Provo since 2003.
