TV Info, Kickoff Time Revealed For BYU Football Game Against Arkansas

PROVO, Utah – For only the third time in their history, BYU football will host an SEC team at LaVell Edwards Stadium.
That game with an SEC team is coming up later this month when BYU hosts the Arkansas Razorbacks.
Arkansas will travel to Provo for a Saturday, October 15 matchup, and now we know the kickoff time for the game.

BYU versus Arkansas will kick off at 1:30 p.m. (MT) and be televised on either ABC or ESPN. A Big 12 matchup between Oklahoma State and TCU is the other 1:30 p.m. kick that ESPN is considering for either ABC or ESPN.
The last four losses for BYU have all occurred in the daytime. On the flip slide, BYU has won 13 consecutive games at night.
First meeting ever for BYU football against Arkansas
BYU has never played Arkansas before. The October 15 meeting in Provo will be the first meeting all-time between the two schools.
It’s the first of a two-game series that will conclude in Fayetteville next season on September 16.
History against SEC teams
BYU is 4-6 all-time in games against SEC programs. During the Kalani Sitake era, which dates back to 2016, BYU is 2-2 against SEC teams.
BYU is 1-0 under Sitake against SEC teams in Provo, a win over Mississippi State in 2016.
Arkansas joins Mississippi State as the only two SEC programs to visit Provo. The Bulldogs did it in 2016 and 2000, LaVell Edwards’ last season. Texas A&M was in Provo in 1996, but they were a member of the Big 12 Conference.
Arkansas started the season 3-0 and has since lost two consecutive games against Texas A&M in Arlington, Texas, and a home contest against No. 1 Alabama.
Before they travel out to Provo, Arkansas has a road game against No. 23 Mississippi State in Starkville on October 8.
BYU will take on the Notre Dame Fighting Irish this Saturday before hosting the Hogs the following week.
