SALT LAKE CITY – The countdown for Hans & Scotty’s 60 in 60 is on. Coming in at #30 is BYU’s Dallin Holker (TE).

Throughout the summer Hans & Scotty are counting down the top 60 college football players in the state of Utah as voted on by the media (and a fan ballot).

“Very athletic tight end, great route runner with fantastic hands and ball skills,” BYU head coach Kalani Sitake said of his tight end. “Is a big target for our quarterback. Has the speed to break a small route into a big play.”

BYU’s Dallin Holker

Holker is a junior from Lehi, Utah.

He played for BYU during the 2018 season before serving a two-year church mission in Washington. As a true freshman in 2018, Holker played in all 13 games, while hauling in 19 receptions for 235 yards and one touchdown.

This past season, Holker played all 13 games, while collecting 14 catches for 200 yards and one touchdown. His big performances last season came against Arizona State with two catches for 40 yards and three receptions for 56 yards against USC. Holker’s one touchdown in 2021 came against Idaho State.

Coming out of Lehi High School, Holker was a three-star recruit and the No. 16 ranked player in the state of Utah. He helped the Pioneers to the a state championship as a senior in 2018. In 2017, he was named the 5A MVP by the Deseret News. As a senior in high school, Holker had 97 receptions for 1,766 yards and 22 touchdowns. That was the second-most yards in state history, despite missing two games during the season.

Holker and the Cougars open their 2022 schedule on the road against the USF Bulls on September 3.
