PROVO, Utah – The off-season photo shoot is another sign that BYU football is around the corner. You might be wondering, what exactly is this off-season photo shoot?

Every year, in the build-up to a new BYU football season, BYU’s creative team snaps pics of players on the team. The photos are used in various ways, from social media graphics, gifs, team-issued materials, in-game scoreboard graphics, etc.

BYU’s creative team includes lead photographer Jaren Wilkey and Creative Services Director Dave Broberg. Broberg gave some behind-the-scenes footage from the photoshoot on his personal Twitter account.

Following the conclusion of the photoshoot, BYU football players have been sharing their pics on their social feeds.

BYU football season enters the 2022 season with high expectations. Coming off back-to-back years in the final Top 25 rankings, and a roster that boasts the second-most returning production in college football, BYU appears to be looking for more in their final season as an Independent program.
