Andy Reid To Speak At BYU Football Coaches Clinic

PROVO, Utah – Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid will make an offseason stop to his alma mater this spring. Reid will be the keynote at the 2022 BYU football coaching clinic, which is open to all high school football coaches.
The clinic will take place on Thursday, March 24, running from 8 a.m. to Noon. In addition, BYU will also host a “Kalani Classic Golf Tournament” for the coaches on Wednesday, March 23, at Cedar Hills Golf Club. According to BYU Football’s announcement, there are limited spots available for both events.

Reid has established himself as one of the greatest coaches in NFL history. The 2019 Super Bowl Champion with the Chiefs has won 233 games as a head coach, ranking fifth all-time in NFL history. Reid ranks behind Tom Landry, Bill Belichick, George Halas, and Don Shula.
A former BYU offensive tackle from 1978-1980, Reid began his coaching career as a graduate assistant under the legendary LaVell Edwards.

BYU was going to have Reid as a keynote speaker for the High School Coaches Clinic two years ago during spring ball before the COVID-19 pandemic shut down practices that year. This will be the first coaches clinic on campus since 2019.
BYU football begins spring practices for the 2022 season on Monday, February 28. Led by head coach Kalani Sitake, BYU has produced back-to-back double-digit win seasons for the first time since 2009. As a result, BYU enters the spring ranked No. 18 in the KSL Sports Way-Too-Early Top 25.
