PROVO, Utah – Coming up on Saturday, October 23, BYU football will play at Martin Stadium in Pullman, Washington, for the first time in program history. It’s the only venue in the Pac-12 Conference that BYU has not played a game in dating back to its first season in 1922.

So it got me thinking, how many of the current FBS (Football Bowl Subdivision) stadiums have BYU not played in over the years?

With BYU currently set up as an FBS Independent (soon to join the Big 12 Conference in 2023), the Cougars have had the chance to play “Coast-to-Coast Football” and play in various stadiums.

History of FBS stadiums BYU Football has not played at over the years

Here’s the list, broken down by conferences of which stadiums BYU has not played in and the ones they have (regular season and postseason) since 1922.

Keep in mind, some of these teams BYU has played games at their former venues, but not at the current ones, such as the teams in the Mountain West Conference, BYU’s old league home.
