BYU Football Offers Tei Nacua, Younger Brother To Puka And Samson

PROVO, Utah – Could we see another member of the Nacua family join the BYU football program after Puka and Samson’s days are over in Provo? It’s possible.
Tei Nacua, a class of 2024 wide receiver prospect from Timpview High School received an offer from BYU this week.

The 6-foot-2, 170-pound prospect was in attendance at BYU’s first high school football camp earlier this week.
BYU has a rich history with the Nacua family starting with the oldest brother, Kai. Kai Nacua finished his BYU career in 2016 as one of the program’s top safeties ever. Isaiah Nacua, a heralded defensive lineman from Bishop Gorman High (Nevada) signed with BYU out of high school.
Then Puka and Samson Nacua joined the BYU program this past spring after entering the Transfer Portal.
During Puka’s career at Orem High School, he finished as the state’s all-time leader in career receiving yards with 5,226. One thing is for sure with the Nacua family is that they love to compete, so the younger Tei will look to top some of those records set by Puka over the next three years with the T-Birds.
BYU football loading up on 2024 offers
Tei Nacua isn’t the only 2024 recruit that BYU has offered in recent weeks. The Cougars also offered quarterback Isaac Wilson from Corner Canyon, younger brother to Zach Wilson. Wilson, like Nacua, was also at BYU camp this past week.
BYU also extended an offer to Spanish Fork athlete Adney Reid and Long Beach, California quarterback Myles Jackson.
Tei Nacua currently reports two offers, with the first coming from Utah back on January 19th.
