Jazz Guard Mike Conley Exits Hornets Game With Right Hamstring Tightness

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Jazz guard Mike Conley exited Utah’s game against the Charlotte Hornets with right hamstring tightness.
The Hornets hosted the Jazz at the Spectrum Center on Friday, February 5.
After leaving the contest, Utah announced that Conley would not return.

The Jazz guard exited the game with 6:58 remaining in the third quarter.
The Jazz went on to defeat Charlotte, 138-121.
Conely finished with 16 points on 6-11 field goals and 4-7 from three-point range. He also had four rebounds, two assists, and a steal. Conley posted a team-high plus-19 rating during his 20 minutes on the court.

Friday night’s injury was not Conley’s first hamstring issue while a member of the Jazz.
Last season, the guard missed five games with a hamstring injury on his other leg. After returning for one game, Conley missed another 14 contests before returning to Utah’s lineup.

Conley entered the game against Charlotte averaging 16.5 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 6.0 assists in 22 games this season.
Utah’s next game is against the Indiana Pacers on Sunday, February 7 at 11 a.m. (MDT). The game will broadcast on AT&T SportsNet and 97.5 FM.
