PROVO, Utah – BYU quarterback Zach Wilson had a quick workday against North Alabama. The Heisman Trophy hopeful played only one half of football against the North Alabama Lions from the FCS ranks.

In Wilson’s one half of work, he put up 212 yards and tossed four touchdown passes before coaches told him to enjoy the rest of his afternoon.

Zach Wilson: “Any team, any time, any place.”

When Wilson and the entire BYU football team returned to the field at LaVell Edwards in the second half, Wilson was seen on the sidelines rocking a headband that read, “Any team, any time, any place.”

Many Jim McMahon vibes are coming off Wilson here with a headband that has a slogan.

What could Wilson’s slogan mean? One can only interpret that as a message of he and the BYU team wanting to add another opponent to the 2020 schedule.

BYU has made it clear from their athletic department, coaches, and players that they would love to add another game or two to this year’s schedule. The undefeated and nationally-ranked Cougars aren’t scheduled to play again until December 12th against San Diego State.

During an interview with KSL Sports earlier this month, Wilson was asked how badly he and his teammates want a chance to play in a big bowl game or even the College Football Playoff this season.

“The goal for us is to win out and find out what team wants to play us in a bowl game,” Wilson said to KSL Sports. “We look forward to that challenge of playing a big-time opponent. That’s exciting. That’s what you play college football for is for moments like this. We’re ready for the challenge, and it’s going to be an awesome ride for the rest of the season.”

BYU as an FBS Independent has the flexibility and mobility to make another game happen this season. It’s a matter of who wants to face this red-hot Cougar team, brimming with confidence.
