BYU To Wear Ghost White Uniforms On Halloween Against WKU

PROVO, Utah – For the seventh week in as many games this season, BYU football will be wearing another uniform combination on Halloween night against Western Kentucky.

The BYU Equipment page on Twitter made its weekly Monday uniform reveal, and this week the Cougars are going with a “Ghost White” uniform combination. BYU will be wearing all-white uniforms with navy blue numbers and stripes.

Along with the “Ghost White” uniforms, BYU will also sport pink accessories to honor Breast Cancer Awareness Month. BYU started wearing pink accessories for one game in October dating back to 2010 in an upset victory over San Diego State.
BYU has worn the all-white with navy blue numbers and stripes at home on five different occasions. The last coming against Cal in 2018. BYU is 3-2 in games with the all-white uniforms at LaVell Edwards Stadium, highlighted by memorable wins over Boise State and Toledo in 2015 and 2016.
Saturday night will mark the first time since 1992 that BYU is playing on Halloween. That year, BYU pulled off an upset victory over the Penn State Nittany Lions. This week against Western Kentucky, BYU will be a heavy favorite going into the game.
After you’re done trick or treating on Saturday, BYU/WKU will kick off at 8:15 p.m. (MT). The game will be televised nationally on ESPN, and the radio broadcast can be heard on KSL NewsRadio (102.7 FM, 1160 AM).

at Navy – All-white with royal blue numbers and stripes
vs. Troy – All-royal blue
vs. LA Tech – Traditional royal blue jersey and white pants
vs. UTSA – Navy blue jersey and white pants
at Houston – White jersey with royal blue numbers and pants; gray facemask on the helmet
vs. Texas State – All-navy blue
vs. Western Kentucky – All-white with navy blue numbers and stripes; pink accessories
