PROVO, Utah – BYU basketball signee AJ Dybantsa had an impressive weekend of performances in the Iverson Classic.
Dybantsa led Utah Prep to two victories in the event named after NBA legend Allen Iverson. The 6-foot-9 Dybantsa combined to score 72 points to help Utah Prep earn a pair of victories.

Dybantsa scored 31 points against The Patrick School in a 78-73 victory. Then, the following day, Dybantsa dropped 41 points against Western Reserve Academy.
Along with the 41 points against Western Reserve, Dybantsa grabbed eight rebounds, dished out four assists, and had one block in the 97-71 win.

Next up for Utah Prep & Dybantsa
Dybantsa and Utah Prep play a national schedule that spans from coast to coast. They will continue their national schedule this Sunday in the Hoop Hall Classic at Springfield College in Massachusetts.
Utah Prep will take on Montverde Academy on ESPN2.
Dybantsa is the No. 1 recruit in the 2025 class. He signed with BYU during the early signing period and plans to join the Cougar program this summer. Dybantsa is the highest-rated prospect BYU has ever signed and is projected as a potential No. 1 overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft.
