Utah Jazz Shocked By Phoenix Suns In Come-From-Behind Overtime Win

PHOENIX – The Utah Jazz lost in dramatic fashion after a win looked all but secured against the Phoenix Suns in Footprint Center on Friday.
After a 2/2 trip to the free throw line for Lauri Markkanen, the Jazz led by three with less than a second left on the clock. A picturesque inbounds play from the Suns freed former Jazzman Grayson Allen on the right wing and he drilled it to tie the game and force overtime.
In the extra period, Phoenix outscored Utah 13-5 to secure the 135-127 win.
Multiple Jazz players had impressive outings against a shorthanded Suns team. John Collins led the way with 21 points, Lauri Markkanen had 20, Walker Kessler had 19 points and 22 rebounds, and Isaiah Collier posted 15 points and 13 assists.
Utah will head to California for two road games against the Los Angeles Clippers and Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday and Monday.
