PHOENIX – In the first quarter against the Phoenix Suns, rookie guard Isaiah Collier set up Lauri Markkanen on the fastbreak for a highlight one-hand dunk.
Collier and Markkanen combined for nine of Utah’s first 11 points in Phoenix.

The Jazz jumped out to an early lead as they have done in many games since the turn of the calendar year.
Markkanen led all scorers in the opening quarter with nine. He added four rebounds.
Utah didn’t necessarily shoot the lights out early. However, they held the Suns to under 35 percent from the field and 17 percent from three.
After 12 the @utahjazz lead the @suns 30-20.

Outside of Devin Booker who also had nine points on 4/6 shooting, the Suns didnt have any reliable source of offense.
Collier also had a great start in the Footprint Center. The rookie guard had four points, three rebounds, seven assists, and a steal in his first 10 minutes of action.
Isaiah Collier is very quickly entering ๐๐๐ territory.
He keeps getting better, and the more comfortable he gets, the more dangerous he gets.

Jazz Invade The Valley, Look For First Season Win Over Suns
The Utah Jazz didn’t shake up the roster very much but were still one of the most active teams at the NBA Trade Deadline. The teams’ new acquisitions, KJ Martin and Josh Richardson, will not be with the team in Phoenix.
The Jazz and the Suns have already played three times this season. Strangely, Phoenix has won each of the three games by exactly eight points.
With that said, the Suns will be without both Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal in the fourth and final matchup against the Jazz at Footprint Center.
