SALT LAKE CITY – Jazz center Rudy Gobert gave a second effort on the offensive glass and it led to a bucket over one of his former teammates during Utah’s game against the Philadelphia 76ers.
The Sixers hosted the Jazz on Thursday, December 9.
With 9:57 left in the fourth quarter, Gobert let go of a three-foot bank shot attempt.
The ball bounced away from the hoop and Gobert attempted to tip in the initial miss.
The tip fell short of falling through the cylinder.
Gobert battled against multiple 76ers and went up for another attempt after collecting his second straight offensive rebound.
The third time was the charm for Gobert, who connected on a field goal to stretch Utah’s lead to 94-78.
