Mitchell Steals Sixers’ Pass, Throws No-Look Assist To Whiteside

SALT LAKE CITY – Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell picked off a pass for a steal before throwing a no-look assist during Utah’s game against the Philadelphia 76ers.

With 3:18 left in the third quarter, Mitchell intercepted a bad cross-court pass by Matisse Thybulle.
The fifth-year Jazz guard brought the ball up the court before dishing off a no-look pass to Hassan Whiteside.
The Jazz center connected on a layup despite being fouled by Seth Curry.
Whiteside sunk the foul shot to give the Jazz a 78-68 lead.

At the end of the third quarter, the Jazz owned an 88-76 lead.
Mitchell led the Jazz with 17 points on 6-17 field goals. He added one rebound, six assists, and two steals in 26 minutes.
Whiteside added 14 points, 10 rebounds, one assist, and two blocks in 15 minutes off the bench.
This season, Mitchell is averaging 24.7 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 5.0 assists. Whiteside is recording 6.7 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks per game.
