Jordan Clarkson’s Spin Puts Magic Guard Michael Carter-Williams On Skates During Jazz Win

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Jazz guard Jordan Clarkson put a spin move on Michael Carter-Williams that left the Magic guard on the floor during Utah’s win over Orlando.

The Magic hosted the Jazz at Amway Center on Saturday, February 27.
With 7:24 left in the game, Clarkson worked his magic one-on-one against Carter-Williams.
The Jazz guard worked in isolation against the former NBA Rookie of the Year before spinning to free himself of the defense.
Clarkson’s move made Carter-Williams look like he was ice skating for the first time as he fell to the hardwood.

The Jazz sixth man put up a shot that bounced on the rim and through the cylinder for two points.
Clarkson’s bucket extended Utah’s lead to 102-85.

The Jazz went on to win the game, 124-109.

Clarkson finished with 18 points to lead Utah’s second unit. He ended up shooting 7-16 from the field, including 2-9 from beyond the arc. Clarkson added six rebounds and five assists in 28 minutes of action.
With the win, the Jazz improved their NBA-best record to 27-7 on the season.
Utah’s next game is against the New Orleans Pelicans on Monday, March 1 at 6 p.m. (MDT). The game will broadcast on NBA TV, AT&T SportsNet, and 97.5 FM.
