ESPN Drops Jazz, Suns Broadcast On Friday
While the Jazz own the worst record in the Western Conference and the second-worst record in the NBA overall, the Suns have been one of the NBA’s most disappointing teams this season.
With Devin Booker, Kevin Durant, and Bradley Beal, the Suns had the potential to make a run to the playoffs in the West, but injuries and poor play have left Phoenix with a 25-24 record ahead of Thursday’s NBA trade deadline.
Both the Jazz and Suns have been heavily involved in trade rumors in recent weeks with Phoenix reportedly shopping Beal and Durant in hopes of landing disgruntled Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler.

The Jazz, meanwhile, are flush with veteran talent that is out of place on a roster positioning itself to land a high selection in June’s NBA draft.
Utah has been the most active team in the NBA when it comes to trades this season having already completed three transactions to acquire Jalen Hood-Schifino, PJ Tucker, Mo Bamba, a Suns 2031 first-round pick, and three second-round picks in exchange for Drew Eubanks, Patty Mills, and first-round picks in 2025, 2027, and 2029.
