SALT LAKE CITY – Entering his third season with the Utah Utes, offensive tackle Spencer Fano is expected by many to be one of the best players in the nation in 2025.
Fano is next on the 2025 KSL Sports Zone Hans & Scotty G. 60 in 60 watchlist.
“Spencer Fano, one of the best offensive tackles in collegiate football,” Whittingham said, beginning with high praise for the junior.

Fano’s experience and leadership give Utah a considerable boost on the left side of the offensive line.
“He’s been starting since he was a true freshman,” Whittingham commented. “(He) is going to be the anchor of that offensive line and a real leader. He’s been voted captain and got the respect of his teammates.”
He has played 25 career games at Utah with 24 starts.
