Michael Mokofisi Is Ready To Hold Down Interior For Utah In 2025

SALT LAKE CITY – Utah offensive lineman Michael Mokofisi had his redshirt junior campaign cut short because of injury, but he’s ready to bounce back in a big way in 2025.
Head coach Kyle Whittingham praised Mokofisi for his consistency, physicality, and dependable performance year after year.
“Michael Mokofisi has been a stalwart at right guard for us for many years,” Whittingham said. “He’s been a very consistent performer. Very steady, very physical offensive lineman.”
Mokofisi was ranked 26th on our 60 in 60 list last season. He was ranked 52nd in 2023.

About Utah’s Michael Mokofisi
Mokofisi is a redshirt senior offensive lineman from Woods Cross, Utah.
At Woods Cross High School, Mokofisi was a three-star recruit and the No. 11 recruit in the state of Utah. He earned first-team all-state as a senior and first-team all-region as a junior in high school.
In three years at Woods Cross, Mokofisi recorded 124 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, eight passes defended, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery.
In 2021, Mokifisi played as a reserve for Utah’s offensive line in four games. In 2022, he started in 13 games. As a junior, Mokofisi started all 13 games at right guard and was a Pac-12 All-Conference honorable mention.
Last year, Mokofisi started the first seven games of the season before he went down with a season-ending injury.
