SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah State Aggies look to improve their record to .500 as they travel to Hawaii and the island of Oahu for a matchup with the Rainbow Warriors.

The Rainbow Warriors are slated to host the Aggies on Saturday, November 12.

USU currently owns a 4-5 record and would improve to a .500 record for the first time since Week 1 with a win over Hawai’i.

The Aggies opened up their season with a Week 0 win at home against UConn. After defeating the Huskies, USU suffered four straight losses in September. Utah State got back into the win column with back-to-back victories to open October. A loss on the road to the Wyoming Cowboys, the Aggies started their November slate with a win over the New Mexico Lobos to pick up their fourth victory of the year.

USU’s roller coaster of a season is on the up and up right now as the Aggies have captured victory in three of their last four games. The Aggie offense has found a rhythm under quarterback Cooper Legas, who has started four of USU’s last five games. The only missed game was due to injury.

With Legas as the team’s starting signal-caller, the Aggies have scored at least 26 points in three of his four starts. In his other start, USU won with 17 points.

As the Aggies take a long flight to the Hawaiian Islands, the Rainbow Warriors will look to snap a three-game losing streak.

Hawai’i has yet to win consecutive games this season and currently owns a 2-8 record. The Rainbow Warriors opened the year with three straight losses before winning at home against Duquesne. Following the victover over the Dukes, Hawai’i dropped back-to-back games against New Mexico State and San Diego State. After falling in their Mountain West opener to SDSU, the Rainbow Warriors tasted victory with a win at home over the Nevada Wolf Pack. Since the win, Hawai’i has fallen to Colorado State, Wyoming, and Fresno State.

Hawai’i ranks last in the Mountain West by giving up an average of 35.8 points per contest. The Rainbow Warriors are also the conference’s third-worst offense with only 17.8 points scored per game.

Utah State’s offense averages 20.0 points per game and the Aggie defense surrenders 28.9 points per contest.

ESPN Analytics currently gives USU a 62.9 percent chance at winning in Hawaii.

Utah State’s game against Hawai’i has a kickoff time of 9 p.m. (MDT). The game will be broadcast on Spectrum Sports.
