LOGAN, Utah – Game week is upon us as the Bronco Mendenhall era prepares to kick off for Utah State football when USU welcomes UTEP to town.
The Aggies open the 2025 season by hosting the UTEP Miners on Merlin Olsen Field at Maverik Stadium in Logan, Utah, on Saturday, August 30.

The Aggies and Miners matchup for the first time since a 21-6 USU win in the 2014 New Mexico Bowl. USU is 3-0 all-time against UTEP and 1-0 at home.
Utah State begins the season at home for the second consecutive year. The Aggies are 11-5 in home season openers since 1959 and have won their past five. USU is 15-1 in home openers since 2009.
