BYU’s Black Uniforms In Running For College Football Uniform Of The Year Award

PROVO, Utahย – The BYU football equipment department stepped up their game in 2020. Nearly every week of the Cougars 11-1 season saw BYU wearing a different uniform combination.
BYU even pulled out their blackout uniforms for the regular-season finale against San Diego State.
The all-black uniform, which made its return after a four-year hiatus, is now in the running for College Football’s Uniform of the Year according to Uniswag.

BYU’s black uniforms are one of 18 finalists for 2020-21 College Football Uniform of the Year. The champion will be decided by a fan vote. That has to be music to the ears of BYU fans. Remember last April when BYU fans rallied behind Cosmo to win the mascot National Title? Or when Cougar fans advanced to the National Championship round for best college basketball fan base?
BYU fans do well in online polls. They even “Jimmer” the things as they like to say.
The voting for the Uniswag Uniform of the Year is live until Thursday, February 18th at 1 p.m. (MT). Uniswag’s winner will then be announced on Monday, February 22nd.
BYU football is up against some tough competition for the swag crown. Here are the 18 finalists.
