Love Throws For 300+ Yards In Frisco Bowl Loss, Final Collegiate Game

FRISCO, Texas – Utah State quarterback Jordan Love threw for over 300 yards in his final collegiate football game, a loss to the Kent State Golden Flashes in the Tropical Smoothie Cafe Frisco Bowl.
Love and the Aggies fell to the Golden Flashes 51-41 on Friday, December 20.
The USU QB went 30/39 for 317 yards, 3 touchdowns, and an interception in the final game of his Aggie career.
On December 10, Love announced his intentions to forgo his senior season and enter the 2020 NFL Draft.
In his final 60 minutes of collegiate football, Love broke the Utah State career record for total offense.

The Aggies finished the game with 506 total yards but committed three costly turnovers.
Love found receivers Siaosi Mariner (twice) and Deven Thompkins for the three passing scores. The QB added 16 yards on 10 carries.
The 2019 version of the Frisco Bowl was a back and forth shootout between the Mountain West and Mid-American squads.
Utah State’s defense surrendered 550 yards of total offense to the Golden Flashes.
Kent State quarterback Dustin Crum ran in the final score of the game to put his team up 10 points with 1:56 left in the game.

The Aggies finished the season with a 7-6 record while the Golden Flashes improved to 7-6 in 2019.
