Gibb was named the unanimous Big 12 Freshman of the Year. She also earned Big 12 All-Freshman Team and Second Team All-Big 12 honors.
The Raymond, Alberta native is the only freshman in the Big 12 this season to be named to one of the top three All-Conference teams this season.
Gibb was a bright spot for a BYU team that struggled through a 13-16 regular season and a 4-14 record in the Big 12.
