TV Info, Tip-Off Time Revealed For BYU’s NCAA Tournament Game Against Alabama

NEWARK, N.J. – BYU basketball will face the No. 2 seed Alabama Crimson Tide in the regional semifinals of the East Region at the 2025 NCAA Tournament.

The matchup was determined after No. 6 seed BYU defeated No. 3 seed Wisconsin on Saturday in Denver. Then Alabama knocked off No. 7 seed Saint Mary’s on Sunday in Cleveland.

Tip-off times for the Regional Semifinals were announced late Sunday night.

BYU vs Alabama on CBS

BYU versus Alabama will tip off at 5:09 p.m. (MDT) on Thursday, March 27, and be televised on CBS. Check your local affiliate for channel information.

It’s the second consecutive NCAA Tournament game where BYU is playing on network television.

The BYU-Alabama game will kick off the regional semifinal schedule on Thursday night.

BYU vs. Alabama will tip-off at 5:09 pm (MDT) on Thursday in Newark on CBS.

BYU is preparing for its first appearance in the Sweet 16 since 2011. The last time BYU advanced beyond the Sweet 16 was in 1981.

BYU and Alabama haven’t faced off against each other in men’s basketball since a nonconference matchup in Long Island, New York during the 2017-18 season. Alabama leads the all-time series against BYU, 2-0.

The announcers for BYU versus Alabama will include Brian Anderson as the play-by-play voice, former Ohio State Buckeye and NBA veteran Jim Jackson as the analyst, and Allie LaForce on the sidelines.
