SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah Jazz got off to a hot start during the opening quarter of their road contest against the Philadelphia 76ers.

The Sixers hosted the Jazz on Thursday, December 9.
During the first 5:34 of game time, Utah’s offensive had a fast start to their second of back-to-back road games.
The Jazz began the game shooting a blazing 66.7 percent from the field, including 60.0 percent from beyond the arc.
All five Jazz starters scored during the opening minutes of action.
Donovan Mitchell led Utah with six points on 2-3 field goals from distance.

Rudy Gobert added two points and two rebounds.
Unfortunately for the Jazz, Philadelphia also had a fast start on the offensive end.
At the 6:26 mark, the Sixers led the Jazz, 19-17.

During the opening minutes, the 76ers shot 72.7 percent overall and 40.0 percent from three.
Neither team had missed consecutive shot attempts up to that point of the game.
