Jazz Face Pelicans In Battle Of West’s Worst Teams

SALT LAKE CITY—The Utah Jazz will travel to New Orleans on Friday night to face the Pelicans in a matchup between the two worst teams in the Western Conference.
The Jazz are 3-7 in their last 10 games and 10-29 overall, while the Pelicans have played .500 basketball in their last 10 outings and are 10-32 on the season.

Jazz Face Pelicans Twice In Four-Day Span
The Jazz will be in New Orleans throughout the extended weekend, opening a two-game series that opens on Friday against the Pelicans before concluding Monday night.
New Orleans is riding back-to-back wins for only the third time this season, and has won three of its last four contests,
Pelicans forward Zion Williamson has returned from a hamstring injury that caused him to miss 27 games early in the season.

The former number-one overall pick is averaging 19.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 5.3 assists since re-entering the lineup, and is expected to be available against the Jazz.
The Pelicans mark the first two stops of a four-game road trip for the Jazz.
After two contests in New Orleans, the Jazz will travel to Oklahoma City to face the West-leading Thunder, before facing the Memphis Grizzlies next Saturday.
