Mike Conley Defeats Tamika Catchings In NBA H.O.R.S.E Competition

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah Jazz guard Mike Conley defeated 10-time WNBA All-Star and future Hall of Famer Tamika Catchings in the quarterfinal round of the NBA H.O.R.S.E competition.

Conley was participating in his indoor personal gym at his hometown of Columbus, Ohio.
Catchings was in Indiana outdoors in her driveway.
The future WNBA Hall of Famer won the coin toss but missed her first shot. Conley made his first shot attempt which was a corner three-pointer.
Conley attempted a behind-the-back shot but missed. Catchings made a 360 layup before Conley matched the shot.

The Jazz guard made a shot with his off-handed elbow jumper. Catching couldn’t get the shot to go and received an H.
Conley then handed Catchings an O after he drilled a corner three-pointer after dribbling the ball behind his back.
After Catchings was at H.O., Conley went back to the off-hand shot, this time from the free throw line. Catchings missed her shot and received and R and was at H.O.R.
Mike Conley again goes off hand from the free-throw line to give Catching another letter.
She's at R, while Conley has a clean sheet.

The two exchanged letters after that with Conley receiving his first letter and Catchings on the brink of elimination with H.O.R.S.
Conley put Catchings away with an off-handed shot that he made from behind the basket.

The Jazz guard advances to the semifinals against former NBA Finals MVP Chauncey Billups. They will clash on Thursday at 7 p.m. on ESPN.
