SALT LAKE CITY – During NBA All-Star weekend in Cleveland the Jazz released the logo for the 2023 game that is set to be held in Utah.

The new design features the Jazz Note logo sitting alongside a mountain peak next to the word Utah, set in the team’s evolving color scheme of black, white, and yellow.

The team released a video of all 30 All-Star Weekend logos dating back to the last time the event was held in Salt Lake City.

During Sunday’s All-Star Game in Cleveland, Jazz owner Ryan Smith previewed the logo printed on an official Wilson basketball on Twitter.

“It starts now,” Smith tweeted. “@NBAAllStar 2023 WELCOME TO UTAH! Jazz Nation is going to show how it’s done.”

The 2023 All-Star Game in Utah is set for Sunday, February 19 at Vivint Arena.

“We’re going to roll in Utah from Salt Lake to Park City,” Smith said during Sunday’s broadcast at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse. “Don’t come for a couple of days, come for the whole week. Donovan and Rudy are hosting. It’s gonna be pretty sweet.”

The Jazz were awarded the 2023 games in 2019 when the team was still under the ownership of the Miller family.

In 2016, Vivint Arena received a $125 million renovation under the Miller’swhich helped them land the star-studded weekend.

“I think it will be amazing for the state, for the organization, and I think I actually for the NBA,” Jazz three-time All-Star Rudy Gobert said before Sunday’s game.

“I know Ryan has already a lot of things together to make it a memorable experience for everyone. It’s exciting for me, it’s a dream and always a blessing so I hope to be there next year, too.”

Both Sacramento and Milwaukee also bid on the 2023 All-Star Weekend which is expected to generate $45-50 million in economic impact for the state according to former Governor Gary Herbert.
