Jazz Sign Danuel House To 10-Day Contract

SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah Jazz are signing wing Danuel House to a 10-day contract.
On Tuesday, guard Joe Ingles entered the NBA’s COVID protocol, and the Jazz traded wing Miye Oni to the Oklahoma City Thunder, leaving the team shorthanded on the perimeter.
Shams Charania of The Athletic reported the move early Wednesday.

House is a six-year NBA veteran with 179 games of experience. The wing began his career in Washington before spending a season in Phoenix, before spending three seasons in Houston where he became a regular rotation player.
In 154 games with the Rockets, House averaged 9.2 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.4 assists while shooting 42 percent from the floor and 37 percent from the three-point line.

House signed a 10-day contract with the New York Knicks earlier this year after the Rockets released the guard while they enter a full rebuild.
The wing stands 6-foot-6 and weighs 220 lbs giving him good size for a modern NBA perimeter player.
House will join the Jazz during their current five-game road trip. The team opened the road swing with a win over the New Orleans Pelicans before making stops in Denver, Toronto, Indiana, and Detroit.
