Jazz Guard Donovan Mitchell Gets Lucky Bounce On Almost Dunk Over 76ers’ Joel Embiid

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell nearly completed an impressive dunk over 76ers star Joel Embiid before getting a lucky bounce as part of a three-point opportunity during Utah’s game against Philadelphia.

The Sixers hosted the Jazz at Wells Fargo Center on Wednesday, March 3.
With 4:13 left in the third quarter, Mitchell rose up for a massive slam dunk. The Jazz guard was unable to complete the jam over Embiid but received a lucky bounce on the iron.
The ball dropped through the cylinder as Mitchell was fouled.

Mitchell went to the charity stripe and buried the foul shot to complete the three-point play.
The guard’s three-points gave Utah an 81-75 lead.
After the free throw, Mitchell was 9-20 shooting, including 4-7 from beyond the arc for 24 points.

In addition to his scoring, Mitchell had five rebounds and two assists.
