ORLANDO, Fla. – The Utah Jazz now lead the best-of-seven series against the Denver Nuggets after a blowout 124-87 win.

The Jazz now control the series after taking a 2-1 lead and have won the last two games.

Rudy Gobert and Mike Conley led the Jazz with 24 points. Gobert also had 14 rebounds and one steal on 11 of 15 shooting and 2 for 5 from the free throw line.

Conley also dished out 4 assists and knocked down 7 three-pointers.

Return Of Mike Conley

It was Mike Conley’s first playoff game as a member of the Jazz. He missed the first two games of the series after leaving the NBA bubble to be with his wife for the birth of their son. Conley returned to the bubble on Monday and completed his four-day quarantine without a positive COVID-19 test and was able to return for Game 3.

Conley made his first six three-pointers before missing his only triple of the game. Before sitting the fourth quarter, Conley knocked down another three-pointer.

Utah picked up big performances from Jordan Clarkson with 11 points and 16 from Georges Niang. Niang knocked down four triples.

Gobert’s Dominant Presence

The big man scored all 20 points in the first half while also notching a double-double by the time halftime came. Gobert did just about everything around the rim including layups, slam dunks off of lobs and even a sky-hook over Nikola Jokic when he gathered a offensive rebound.

Jokic led the Nuggets with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Jamal Murray struggled again for Denver with 12 points on 5 of 16 shooting from the field.

The Jazz lead the series 2-1. Game 4 will be on Sunday at 7 p.m. MT. The game will be broadcast on TNT and AT&T SportsNet.
