Bear Mascot, Utah Jazz Dunk Team Impress With ‘Dunk From Home Challenge’ Performance

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Jazz Bear mascot along with the Utah Jazz Dunk Team shared a video featuring their “#DunkFromHome” challenge performance.
The dunkers shared the video via Instagram on Saturday, March 28.
Bear, along with the rest of the dunk team, compiled a series of dunk clips together in a single video to complete a dunk routine during quarantine due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The dunk routine was capped off with a slam dunk by Bear, who slid down a staircase towards a basket.

Bear and the Utah Jazz dunk team haven’t been able to perform in a live game setting in more than two weeks due to the NBA suspension of the 2019-20 season.
The league’s suspension of play came shortly after it postponed a game between the Jazz and Oklahoma City Thunder after Jazzman Rudy Gobert tested positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday, March 11.

How Do I Prevent It?
The CDC has some simple recommendations, most of which are the same for preventing other respiratory illnesses or the flu:
- Avoid close contact with people who may be sick
- Avoid touching your face
- Stay home when you are sick
- Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue and then throw the tissue in the trash
- Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom, before eating, and after blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing. Always wash your hands with soap and water if your hands are visibly dirty.
- If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
The CDC does not recommend wearing a face mask respirator to protect yourself from coronavirus unless a healthcare professional recommends it.

Common items in question include toilet paper, water, hand sanitizer, certain household cleaners, and even cold medicine and baby formula.
