All of the weekend’s main events (Rising Stars, All-Star Saturday Night, and the All-Star Game) will be broadcast on TNT and TruTV.
Other streaming and audio options include SlingTV, Hulu + Live TV, DirecTV Stream, Max, and Fubo.
All of the other smaller events, practices, and games will be broadcast on NBA TV and the NBA App. The only exception is the Ruffles NBA All-Star Celebrity Game which can be watched on ESPN.
About the NBA All-Star Game
For the first time ever, San Francisco will be the home of NBA All-Star weekend. It isn’t the first time for the Bay Area though. In 1967, Cow Palace in Daly City hosted the ASG.
With a new city comes a new format. In an effort to increase competitiveness and watchability, the NBA opted to change the All-Star Game to a mini-tournament with four teams and three games. The winning teams from Game 1 and Game 2 will advance to face each other in the championship. The first team to reach 40 points in each game will move on.
