HILTON HEAD, S.C. – Utah native and PGA Tour golfer Tony Finau played well over the weekend, but a slow start left him tied for 38th at the 2025 RBC Heritage.
Finau shot three-under-par in rounds three and four and finished at -6 for the event.

Finau’s first round was his worst, but it initially didnt look like it would play out that way.
He started with two birdies and seven pars on the front nine. On the back nine, he settled for three bogeys to finish at +1.
Finau pulled it together a bit in the second round, but his few mistakes ended up being costly. Four birdies were nearly erased with three bogeys, but he still managed to make the cut, shooting even par.

Finau came out on fire on moving day. If it weren’t for a double-bogey on 13 and a bogey on 17, he would have had one of the best third rounds in the field.
His seven birdies still carried him to a -3.
The final round was more of the same. He had six birdies and finished at -3 once again. If his post-cut pace carried over to the first two rounds, he could’ve slid into the top ten at Harbour Town Golf Links.
The inconsistency is best shown in his scoring stats. Finau finished top five in birdies but also in the 60s for bogeys. Scoring aside, he was top 25 in shots gained off the tee, shots gained putting, driving accuracy, driving distance, greens in regulation, and feet of putts made.
