Jaxson Dart Stays Hot In Preseason Against Jets
Russell Wilson started the game for the Giants, leading the offense through the first three drives.
Midway through the second quarter, Dart got his first look and immediately connected on a 30-yard completion. Wilson returned to finish the series, but his drive ended with an interception on a pass intended for Beaux Collins.
Dart then took over for the final possession of the half. His first full drive stalled quickly in a three-and-out, giving the Jets about five minutes to tack on a field goal before halftime.

Opening the second half, Dart marched the Giants 71 yards in nine plays for a quick touchdown drive.
He went 5-of-6 for 62 yards on the series, capping it with a strike to tight end Greg Dulcich — his first score of the game and second of the preseason.
Dulcich split the defense up the seam, and Dart hit him in stride for an easy run into the end zone.

The next possession with Dart under center was more long-winded, but the result was the same.
It took five minutes and 12 plays to go 55 yards. Set up with a 1st & goal on the one-yard line, a halfback run up the middle was stuffed by the Jets’ front line.
On second down, Dart called his own number. He followed his blockers and basically fell into the end zone for his first NFL rushing TD.

That ended up being Dart’s last snap of the game.
Jameis Winston and Tommy DeVito closed the game for the Giants, scoring 10 points across three drives to finalize a 31-12 win against their New York counterparts.
It will be a quick turnaround for the Giants as they face the New England Patriots on Thursday, August 21, in their final game fo the 2025 preseason.
