DUBLIN, Ohio – Utah native and PGA Tour golfer Tony Finau bounced back from his poor third round but still failed to crack the top 30 at the 2025 Memorial Tournament.
Finau shot even par on Sunday, leaving his overall score for the event at +5.
Tony Finau Finishes T31 At Memorial
The Memorial Tournament was held at Muirfield Village Golf Club in Dublin, Ohio, from May 29 to June 1.
If you had checked on Finau during the front nine, you wouldn’t have guessed he could have made it back to par. On hole 2, he shot a double bogey. Two more bogeys on holes three and seven had him at +3 through nine.
Fortunately, he pulled a full 180 at the turn. He started with back-to-back birdies on 10 and 11 and then ended his round with a birdie on 18.

All in all, Finau’s mid-range game was the best part of his play during the event. He was tied for eighth in shots gained around the green and 22nd in shots gained approaching the green.
The long and short range left a lot to be desired, though. He was tied for 52nd in driving accuracy and 41st in shots gained while putting.
With that said, if just his third round went a bit better, he very easily could’ve slotted into the top 15. Much of the field struggled, as even par for the tournament was good for a T12 finish.
Scottie Scheffler prevailed over all to claim his second signature event win of the season.
