LOS ANGELES, California- The NFL offseason is always sure to stir feelings of uncertainty and spark questions as teams begin to form the new year’s roster and make difficult personnel decisions. For Puka Nacua the Los Angeles Rams, it was a cornerstone of their squad, Quarterback Matthew Stafford, whose position with the team was up in the air, but it seems the Suber Bowl Champions is staying in SoCal.
According to a report from NFL Insider Adam Schefter, Stafford and the Rams were able to reach an agreement to restructure his deal, keeping him in Los Angeles, and while details of the deal such as amount and length are still to come, nobody is happier than Puka Nacua.

Following the news that Matthew Stafford would be returning to the Rams, former BYU Cougar and current teammate of Stafford Puka Nacua posted a reaction video from inside the airport, and although the star wide receiver had missed his flight back to Salt Lake City, it was good vibes only for Nacua.

While fans of the team and other players are certainly happy to see the superstar quarterback return, Puka especially has reason to look forward to another season with Staffor under center as the pair have developed strong chemistry over the last two seasons.
Although Nacua missed extended time last season with a knee injury and only appeared in 11 games for Los Angeles, he was still Stafford’s favorite target with 106, also leading the team with 990 receiving yards.
Stafford and Nacua were also lethal during Puka’s record-breaking rookie season when the wide receiver set the new all-time high for receiving yards for a rookie with 1,486.
Over the last two seasons, Puka Nacua and Matthew Stafford have combined for 2,476 yards, more than 1,000 higher than any other receiver on the Rams.
Now, it looks like we will get at least a couple more years of one of the NFL’s most prolific quarterback and wide receiver duos.
