SALT LAKE CITY – BYU football offensive lineman Austin Leausa is poised for a breakout 2025 season after making an appearance on the 60 in 60 watchlist.
Versatility is a staple of Leasua’s game, giving the Cougar offensive line a guy who can provide competent play at any position along the line.
“He can play any of the positions for us on the O-line,” BYU head coach Kalani Sitake said. “He’s played tackle and guard, so that allows Coach Woods so many opportunities to put the best five linemen out there.”
“It’s usually guys like Austin that have to move around,” Sitake continued. “Whether they’re playing with the right hand down or the left hand down. He’s able to do both, which gives him so much ability to the next level.”
