Draymond Green Puts Former Jazzman Rudy Gobert In Headlock

SAN FRANCISCO – Rudy Gobert and Draymond Green added a new chapter in their long, sorted history, this time in the form of a headlock.

The scuffle started between Klay Thompson and Jaden McDaniels.

Gobert grabbed Thompson in what appeared to be a move to de-escalate the situation.

Green didn’t take a liking to Gobert touching his teammate and he swooped in to grab the Minnesota big man.

Green held Gobert in a headlock for over five seconds.

Draymond Green, Rudy Gobert Have History

Green and Rudy Gobert have a bit of a history with one another.

During the 2022 All-Star Game, the Warriors’ forward joined TNT/TBS as an analyst and got defensive when compared to the French center.

“You keep mentioning me in the same sentence with him. We’re not alike,” Green said. “We ain’t nothing alike.”

Previously, Green had poked fun at Gobert during the reveal of the 2022 NBA All-Star reserves on February 3.

In 2019, the Jazzman posted a resume fitting of an All-Star. However, he was not selected for that season’s NBA All-Star Game. After his snub, Gobert spoke to the media and broke down in tears while discussing a conversation with his mother’s reaction.
