SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah Jazz rallied from a late 13 point deficit and stunned the Toronto Raptors with a 122-116 victory.

Lauri Markkanen scored 23 points while Walker Kessler added 23 points and nine rebounds in the Jazz first game since shaking up the roster at the trade deadline.

The Raptors were led by 35 points from Pascal Siakam, but it wasn’t enough as the Jazz snapped their three-game losing streak.

First Quarter

The Raptors jumped out to a quick 19-8 lead as they knocked down 5-6 from three to open the game.

The Jazz struggled early missing their first five three-point attempts in Toronto.

After a slow start, the Jazz found success scoring in the paint led by five points from Ochai Agbaji and Lauri Markkanen.

After one the Jazz trailed the Raptors 34-28.

Second Quarter

Udoka Azubuike gave the Jazz a spark in the first half scoring six points and grabbing four rebounds on a perfect 3-3 shooting.

The Raptors rebuilt their lead to double-digits midway through the second, but a 9-0 Jazz run trimmed the deficit to one in the final minute.

Markkanen upped his scoring total to 11 points while Collin Sexton added 10. Pascal Siakam led all scorers with 23.

At the half the Jazz trail Toronto 61-58.

Third Quarter

After his strong first quarter, Agbaji struggled with the Raptors offensive attack committing five fouls in just 13 minutes.

The Raptors slowly pulled away from the Jazz throughout the third, punctuated by a 10-1 run late in the quarter.

Markkanen led the Jazz with 16 points while Sexton added 14 through three.

Heading into the fourth quarter, the Jazz trailed the Raptors 96-83.

Fourth Quarter

The Raptors were able to maintain their double-digit lead through the first half of the fourth quarter as the Jazz struggled to get stops on defense.

However, the Jazz used a late 14-1 run to tie the game at 112 with 2:34 left in the quarter.

A Markkanen three-point play gave the Jazz a 115-114 lead with 2:07 left to play, and the Raptors never regained their advantage.

The Jazz beat the Raptors 122-116.
