SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Renae Ingles, wife of Utah Jazz guard announced the family was expecting a new baby. In a Twitter post Wednesday, the former professional netballer announced Ingles baby number three was on the way. The newest family member is due in November. The Ingleses are parents to twins Jacob and Milla.

“So, we have been keeping a little secret…” The tweet read.

The Ingleses are one of the more prominent public parents in the NBA. Son Jacob was diagnosed with autism in January of 2019 causing the family to be outspoken supporters of children with the disorder.

Ingleses As Parents

The entire Ingles family makes regular appearances on each parent’s social media accounts. Furthermore, the Ingleses have shared their children’s lives in TV commercials and the media. The family even started a podcast that explores their lives as professional athletes and parents.

The couple teamed up with Chip Cookies to create a special cookie that will be sold with proceeds going towards autism awareness.

Jacob’s diagnosis led to the team creating Autism Awareness night within the organization. The event debuted in 2019. However, the coronavirus pandemic sidelined the game set for 2020.

Other Jazz Parents

The Ingles baby isn’t the only newcomer on the way. Guard Mike Conley and wife Mary Peluso announced they were expecting over Easter weekend.

Like the Ingles, Conley is the proud father of two toddlers. The Conley family will welcome their third child this summer.

Reserve center Ed Davis is also the proud parent of toddlers. Similarly, Davis has twins.

Davis, like most young parents, is mastering the balance of work and home life.

“Raising these kids, it’s tough right now,” Davis said at the team’s media day. “I’ve got twins so I’m in the [torture] chamber right now.”

Parenting In Full View

With the league in hiatus, parenting in the NBA is in full view. Several Jazz players have shared the lives of their young children on social media over the past two months.

Guard Jordan Clarkson took to Instagram to wish his daughter a happy second birthday.

Additionally, two-way guard Justin Wright-Foreman has documented the life of his newborn online.

The Stars and Jazz player’s daughter was born in February. Familiarly, like most young children, she’s been the cause of some sleepless nights.

“2 Months, Love You Baby,” Wright-Foreman posted on Instagram. “PS: stop waking me up.”

Parenting During COVID-19

Like Conley, the Ingleses are going through a pregnancy in the era of COVID-19. Previously, Conley spoke about the challenges when the virus was first making its way into the country.

“When it was first coming out,” Conley said, “There wasn’t a lot of research or a lot of cases documented of what happens with pregnant women or children when they’re born.”

According to the latest research, pregnant women don’t face additional risks from the coronavirus. However, there has been a higher rate of early-term births and births by cesarean section.
