Donovan Mitchell Praises Fremont’s Dallin Hall After Championship Victory

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell decided to attend the High School Basketball State Championship games at the Jon M. Huntsman Center and he came away impressed during the 6A title game with Fremont’s Dallin Hall.
He gave a shout out on Twitter to Hall who dropped 16 points in their 55-52 win over Davis to claim the state championship.

Mitchell arrived at the Huntsman Center during the second quarter of Fremont’s game after attending games on Tuesday night during the quarterfinals.
According to 247 Sports, Hall is the No. 7 rated recruit in the state of Utah. He has narrowed his choices to Utah, BYU, and Utah State.
After the game and Fremont cut down the nets, Mitchell caught up with Hall for a moment. Hall was holding the state championship trophy with the net wrapped around the hardware.

Leading up to the games that were to be played at the Huntsman Center, Mitchell reached out to his fans on Twitter to ask where and which games he should attend during the state tournament.
It seemed like lots of Utahns wanted Mitchell at their games, with over 80 replies to the Tweet with invites to various basketball games.

Fremont took down top ranked Davis to snatch the state title after losing to Pleasant Grove in the semifinals last season.
