GREEN BAY, Wisc. – The most polarizing prospect in the 2025 NFL Draft was easily Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders, but his falling all the way to the fifth round on the third day was entirely unexpected.
The son of Hall of Famer Deion Sanders, Shedeur guided Colorado to a 9-4 finish in the program’s first year in the Big 12. Still, skepticism lingered. Despite his production, some mock drafts had him slipping into day two. As the first and second days of the draft came and went, major questions were raised about his fall.
As the Browns’ 144th overall pick was announced, social media immediately began to flood with takes.
