Utah Going With ‘Clean’ Uniform Look Against Washington

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Utah football team will have a “clean” look when they take the field at Husky Stadium in Seattle, Washington.

Utah’s equipment staff announced the uniform combination the team will wear against the Washington Huskies on Saturday, November 28. They will sport red helmets, white jerseys and white pants.

This will be the 9th time since joining the Pac-12 that Utah will wear this uniform combination and are 2-6 in those games.

The last time Utah wore this combination, they were on the road in Dekalb, Illinois against the Northern Illinois Huskies in 2018. The Utes picked up a 17-6 victory. They also wore those uniforms in 2017 when they beat West Virginia in the Heart of Dallas Bowl.

Since becoming Pac-12 foes, Utah has played four games in Seattle. The first time was in 2012, Utah wore the red helmet, white jersey and white pants. They lost, 34-15. The Utes’ next clash in Seattle was in 2015. The team wore the all-white combination (white helmet, jersey and pants) and picked up a 34-23 victory.

In 2017, Utah sported the all-white look again and fell to Washington, 33-30. Last season in Seattle, the Utes wore the all-white combo and went home with a 33-28 win.

Kickoff on Saturday between the Utes and Huskies will be at 5:30 p.m. MST on ABC.
