Utah Football Adds Two Home Games With Dixie State In 2028, 2030

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Utah football program has added two home games to their non-conference schedule with Dixie State University with the pair of games taking place in 2028 and 2030.

The first meeting of the two-year agreement will take place on Thursday, August 31, 2028. The second game is scheduled for Thursday, August 29, 2030.
It will be the first meeting between the Utes and Trailblazers. Dixie State will play their first season as a Division I FCS independent in 2020, making the transition from Division II.
Utah has filled up their non-conference slate in 2028 with a home game against BYU and a road contest against Arkansas.

The game against Dixie State is the first non-conference contest scheduled in 2030.
The Utes have scheduled 28 non-conference games between 2020-32. They will have six games against members from the SEC, including Florida in 2022-23, Arkansas in 2026 and 2028 along with LSU in 2031-32.
Utah will also face one Big 12 opponent twice with Baylor in 2023-24 and seven games are scheduled with rival BYU in 2020-21 and 2024-28.

This upcoming season, Utah will open at home against BYU on Thursday, September 3 before hosting Montana State on September 12 and will be at Wyoming on September 19.
