Utah, Arkansas Tweak Home-And-Home Football Series

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The University of Utah and the Arkansas Razorbacks have tweaked the dates for their home-and-home football series.
Utah football and Arkansas are scheduled to meet at Rice-Eccles Stadium in 2026, which is still the case under the revised deal. The only change that was made was the return trip to Arkansas. Rather than playing the Razorbacks at their place in 2028, the Utes will head to SEC country in 2029.
The home-and-home agreement between the two schools was originally announced in July of 2019.

The 2026 meeting between the two schools will be the first matchup in the series history. Arkansas is currently 4-6-1 against Pac-12 schools. The Razorbacks went 3-7 in their 2020 conference-only schedule. Their bowl game against TCU on New Year’s Eve was canceled due to COVID-19.
Utah has beefed up their non-conference schedule over the next 10 years. These games have been scheduled by Mark Harlan since taking over for Chris Hill as Athletic Director. The Utes have a home-and-home series with Florida beginning in 2022 in Gainesville. They will also battle Baylor and LSU.
