Mulitalo is the 157th-ranked prospect in the country by the 247Sports Composite ratings. In 247Sports’ own rankings, they have Mulitalo as the 90th overall prospect.
247Sports ranks Mulitalo as the eighth offensive tackle in the country and third overall prospect in the state of Utah.
Mulitalo joins Pine View TE Brock Harris as the second four-star prospect this month to commit to BYU.
He was previously committed to the Oregon Ducks before opening up his recruitment and zeroing in on BYU.
Mulitalo is the 11th-highest rated commit to BYU since 2000.
The addition of Mulitalo moved BYU from 39th to 33rd in the 247Sports team recruiting rankings for the class of 2026.
Mulitalo is listed at 6-foot-4, 275 pounds.
He picked BYU over offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Iowa State, Oregon, Auburn, Nebraska, USC, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, UNLV, Utah, Washington, and others.
Earlier in his high school career, Mulitalo primarily played the edge rusher position. Now, he’s settling in as an offensive lineman.
His primary recruiters to BYU were offensive line coach TJ Woods and head coach Kalani Sitake.
BYU football is up to seven commits for the class of 2026, with five of those pledges coming from the Beehive State.
Mulitalo joins TE Brock Harris (Pine View), EDGE PJ Takitaki (Lehi), QB Kaneal Sweetwyne (Skyridge), and WR Legend Glasker (Lehi).
